The Bass Inn is the location we are having the club ‘s annual picnic, don’t forget to tell the manager that your with Helotes Bass Club when you check-in so you’ll get your discount. We had a discussion as to what the club would furnish this year and what we would like each club member’s to volunteer to bring. We made a list of items that I’ll pick-up for the club. We had volunteer’s from the attending member’s along with commitments from club member’s that were not able to attend this evenings meeting for our list of food items. I agreed to get a reminder out to everyone so that we could get a head count to Scott in time for him to order our meat. It was unanimous that we have BBQ-Fajitas this year.Fishing Equipment:
No additional fishing equipment was brought to this month’s meeting. I will make arrangements to deliver all of the fishing equipment collected to Randi Wayland who is in charge of this project for Metro.Weigh-in Fees:
We had a motion from the floor from Mitch Strait that the weigh-in fee be reduced back to the $5.00 it had original been. This motion was based on the amount of money we now have in the club treasury as noted in the report this month. The weigh-in fee was raised to help our depleted treasury two-years ago. Since that time, with our Bass Pro-Shop fund raiser and extra monthly weigh-in fees we have generated a nice comfortable treasury. Therefore all members present agreed to this motion and it was approved. Beginning this month at the May tournament the new weigh-in fee will be $5.00 until such time the club feels a need to readjust this feeMedina Lake:
Mitch mentioned that there is a Friday evening Tournament held at Medina Lake. Starts at 7:30pm and ends at Mid-night each Friday night at Red’s Cove, for anyone interested in attending a fun evening of fishing.Hard Luck Trophy:
No hard luck was mentioned for the April Tournament so Richard will be hanging on to the trophy for a least another month. Especially not being present to defend himself.Door $1.00 Draw:
Art was our monthly winner. See what happens when you come to the meetings!!Money Pot:
Felix reminded everyone he would be attending this months tournament and would be collecting for the money pot..Meeting, was adjourned at 8:45 PM
